About Dr. Otto Placik
How Long Have You Been In Business?Over 18 years ago, I joined this practice which has been an active member of the Chicagoland community with offices in Arlington Heights and Water Tower Place for over 35 years. I see and continue to care for patients that my retired associates treated many years ago.
What motivated you to start this business? To join a practice with a great track record of integrity and professionalism delivering the full spectrum of plastic surgery services.
If you were to give a 30 second deescription of your business, how would you describe it?We perform the full range of aesthetic surgery specializing in breast augmentation (enlargement with implants or fat transfer) and female genital procedures as well as facial and body contouring procedures using traditional dermolipectomy and/or liposuction and minimally invasive techniques with radiofrequency, electrocautery, laser as well as endoscopic-assisted lifts, tucks and implants of the face, ears, eyes, cheeks, chin, nose, neck, abdomen (tummy), arms, thighs and legs. We feature non-surgical interventions for a rejuvenated appearance such as Chemical/Laser Peels, Xeomin®, Botox ®, and Dysport®. We use fillers such as Restylane®, Juvederm®, Radiesse®, Belotero®, Voluma®, Prevelle®, and more. The mission of our team is to help you gather the knowledge you need to make an informed decision.
What are you best known for? (i.e. signature dish, special service you offer, etc...)Aesthetic enhancement of the breast, face, body, and female genitalia.
What about your business makes you most proud? My office staff and the ability to help improve a patient’s quality of life. Many never think of that when they consider what plastic surgery has to offer. When I receive patient testimonials, I am most proud about the changes that result from surgery and the improvements in self-image, self-confidence and self-esteem.
What keeps your patients coming back?Their satisfaction with their results. They feel well taken care of. A familiarity and comfort level with our staff that is not typical of most physicians’ offices.
Answer the following question: ``when a coustomer walks into our business, they can expect...``To feel comfortable and at ease. We consider it a no pressure, information gathering session and an opportunity to learn more about the procedures and services we have to offer. Establish a relationship with the staff and physician.

What Happens During My Consultation?
BIC has one mission, and one mission only. We are here to pair you up with the best breast augmentation surgeon in Chicago. With so many fake reviews online, and numerous of plastic surgeons out there, it’s hard to pick one and feel comfortable with one. We want to help you find a plastic surgeon that will meet all of your needs and more.
Choosing the Right Type
The majority of patients prefer the Silicone Gel implant. Silicone implants are filled with gel, and they feel like breast tissue. Silicone implants will give you natural looking breasts. On the other hand, saline implants will be a bit more round, and will look really fake. All in all, it is up to the patient in terms of which is going to be more affordable and which look they desire.

The best way to figure out which breast size you prefer, is through a process called digital imaging. Most plastic surgeons have this technology at their office. Generally, you are able to see what the implant would look like on your body, before even proceeding with a surgery.
